Sports and shoreline access along a Dog River tributary 

Rivière du Chien Park will be a multipurpose waterfront park in south Mobile County, developed on the former Linksman Golf Course site. Rivière du Chien Park will feature waterfront access, a boardwalk, picnic areas, and other recreational amenities for outdoor fun extending beyond the fairways.

Riviére du Chien Park will offer shoreline access and green space for everyday recreation in south Mobile County, in addition to Cypress Creek Golf Course.

Funding

The 100 acres of land for Riviére du Chien Park/Cypress Creek Golf Course was purchased through State and County GOMESA funding, which supports conservation efforts and expands public access to waterfront recreation areas. The waterfront park will be funded by the RESTORE Act.
