Chickasabogue Park is a natural wonder where woods, water, and trails invite adventure. Guests cycle, hike, paddle, play on the playground, splash pad, and courts, or simply enjoy the quiet of the forest.
Adventure seekers love the trails. Families love the playground, pines, and open space. Campers love its the peace and starry skies. It’s like a vacation without leaving the county.
As part of Mobile County’s Parks Initiative, improvements at Chickasabogue Park have been made possible through GOMESA funding, which supports conservation efforts and expands public access to shoreline recreation areas such as Chickasabogue Creek.
Construction of the new boat launch and beach area renovations will be funded through the RESTORE Act, which directs Deepwater Horizon settlement funds toward Gulf Coast restoration and public access improvements.
