Why you should go

Cedar Point Pier makes fishing easy and rewarding. Show up anytime, cast a line where the Mississippi Sound meets Mobile Bay, and enjoy cool breezes, open water, amazing sunrise/sunset views, and plenty of room to spread out. The fish really do bite here, whether you practice catch-and-release or head home with dinner, and the relaxed 24-hour access makes it a place people return to week after week.

Funding

As part of Mobile County’s Parks Initiative, improvements at Cedar Point Pier are being made possible through State and County GOMESA funding, which supports conservation efforts and expands public access to shoreline recreation areas along Mississippi Sound and Mobile Bay, with additional accessibility and sustainability upgrades supported through the County’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocation.
