Cypress Creek Golf Course

A new public 18-hole golf course and recreation destination 

Cypress Creek Golf Course at Riviére du Chien Park is a new public golf course built from the ground up. 

Cypress Creek Golf Course will initially operate on a limited schedule to give newly established turf additional time to mature before operations expand.

Public play begins Sept. 25, 2026, with limited advance-reservation tee times for foursomes available Fridays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Green fees are $65, including cart. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 251-753-9540. 

The driving range and adjacent tennis and pickleball courts are open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tennis and pickleball are free and first-come, first-served. Driving range baskets are $8 for small and $12 for large. Range balls will be available for purchase Thursday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Purchased tokens can be used at any time. Tokens may only be purchased during the hours listed above.

Additional Information

• Cypress Creek Golf Course is open for limited public play beginning Sept. 25, 2026.
• Mobile County acquired the property in 2022
• Mobile County's Golf Course Department manages Cypress Creek Golf Course, as well as the pickleball and tennis courts.
• A temporary clubhouse and food vendor will be on site when it opens.
• Future phases of construction will include a clubhouse and other amenities.

Funding

The 100 acres of land for Cypress Creek Golf Course and Riviére du Chien Park was purchased through State and County GOMESA funding, which supports conservation efforts and expands public access to waterfront recreation areas.
