Cypress Creek Golf Course at Riviére du Chien Park will be a new public golf course built from the ground up.

Cypress Creek adds a modern public golf option designed to serve everyday golfers and support local youth golf development. As phases open, it will become a one-stop destination for practice, play, and community recreation. 

Additional Information

• Mobile County acquired the property in 2022
• Once opened, Mobile County's Golf Course Department will manage Cypress Creek Golf Course, as well as the pickleball and tennis courts.
• A temporary clubhouse and food vendor will be on site when it opens.
• Future phases of construction will include a clubhouse and other amenities.

Funding

The 100 acres of land for Cypress Creek Golf Course and Riviére du Chien Park was purchased through State and County GOMESA funding, which supports conservation efforts and expands public access to waterfront recreation areas.
